Ultra rare 4-track 12" EP which marks the 1st official recording output of Ash and was pressed as a promotional tool for gigs and obtaining record company interest which was funded by the bands themselves with help from shops andthe local business community. The 'Ash' track is an exclusive version that has since been released as an addidtional track on the re-released CD version of 'Jack Names The Planets'. Other bands featured are Buttlip, Marabone and Fat. The release contains handwritten labels, and wraparound picture sleeve.

This was the bands first official UK single, and was only available on 7". Only 2,000 copies were released. The single was released on their now manager Tav's own label, and was recorded with a £300 budget given by Tav himself. 'Jack Names The Planets' was later re-recorded for inclusion on Trailer.

"The Trailer EP was released in the US as a full length album with four bonus tracks. Some of the tracks themselves are slightly different, 'Get Out' was remixed and the ending of the track, as on the UK version plays over on to the start of the next track, and so 'Petrol' starts with the ending of Get Out which is basically those static bubbly sound effects. 'Obscure Thing' has a slightly different beginning and ending with some of the beginning trimmed and faded in and some of the end trimmed and faded it out."

The single was only available for week after which it was deleted. CD1 contains Coasting one of the earliest Ash songs ever written which featured on the bands early demo tapes. It was finally recorded 8 years later for inclusion on this single.

Here Comes The Music is a cover version of a Fixed Stars song. While Grey Will Fade is a beautifully delicate song written and sung by Charlotte Hatherley.
The DVD was released on limited edition also, only 4,000 copies were made. Contains Episode four of the Ash road movie.

I Don't Mind is a cover of the classic Buzzcocks song. Envy was produced by Idlewild and Manic's producer Dave Eringa and Ash.

Tonight You Belong To Me was written by David / Rose / B. Feldman & Co, and is dedicated in the singles artwork to Steve Ludwin of Little Hell. The lyrics to I shall Not Die were translated from Gaelic by Frank O'Connor. All B-sides were produced by Ash.

The DVD was released as limited edition DVD, only 5,000 copies were made, it contains the Envy promo video and 30 second video clips from four classic Ash songs.
UK limited edition 4-track double 7" set, includes Bad Karma Blues, I Shall Not Die and I Don't Mind, numbered gatefold picture sleeve.

Everybody's Happy Nowadays is a Buzzcocks cover featuring Chris Martin of Coldplay singing vocals over the chorus. The song was recorded as the soundtrack to the film Shaun of The Dead staring Simon Pegg. Tinseltown is a nine and half minute beast that switches from a gently strummed melodic intro to slamming dance floor beats and then back again.
