February 2005 meteor.ie: "The Devlins have confirmed that they will join Snoop Dogg and his Rhythm and Gangsta band, The Thrills and Bell X1 as performers at the 2005 Meteor Music Awards.
The Devlins have always had the ability to produce compelling, understated musical gems and their fourth album Waves has cemented their reputation as an Irish band with more longevity, creativity and credibility than most. It doesn’t seem like two years since the last gold-selling Devlins’ album Consent, probably because the band continue to appear on major film and tv soundtracks between records and tours. The band most recently contributed to the highly acclaimed “Six Feet Under” soundtrack for HBO and “World Outside” currently features in the new Mike Nichols blockbuster “Closer”, starring Jude Law and Natalie Portman. Their new single “Careless Love” from their Waves album will be hitting the national airwaves in the next few weeks."
